'C' License Info

The Canadian Soccer Association piloted the 'C' License program throughout 2014-15, and it is now considered the entry-level component to the Licensed Coaching Stream. It replaces the Provincial 'B' Pre-Test Assessment as of 2016.

The 'C' License is for coaches who would like to improve their coaching abilities throughout all levels of the game, however it specifically targets players U11 and older, with emphasis on development of the individual player in all situations. There are on-field practical as well as in-class theoretical components, focusing on aspects of the game in all manners.

Though there is no pre-requisite for the 'C' license course, it is strongly recommended that candidates are eager to learn more about the game. Successful participants will be eligible to apply for the Provincial 'B' Course/License.

Pre-Requisite: None.
Course Length: 4 days (40 hours)
Course Fee: $200

Schedule of courses and registration will be posted below when available.

Please note that coaches who have successfully completed the Provincial 'B' Pre-Test Assessment will have until December 31, 2017 (subject to change) to enter the Provincial 'B' Course. After this date, the Provincial 'B' Pre-Test Assessment will no longer be recognized, and completion of the 'C' License will be required before progressing to the Provincial 'B' License.
