The Canada Soccer Grassroots Coach Education Program is a certification program that encompsases Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, Soccer for Life curriculum as defined in collaboration with the Coaches Association of Canada and its National Coaching Certification Program.

The Canada Soccer Grassroots Coach Education Program consists of the academy.canadasoccer.com learning management system through which coaches complete the theoretical components of the program before completing their practical workshop with Manitoba Soccer.

A new online learning solution replaces the Community Stream Coach Education in-erson classroom component. Canada Soccer has launched an online learning management system to lower the barrier to access for grassroots volunteers, parents, and guardian coaches. The new coach education platform at canadasoccer.com/academy allows coaches anywhere to complete the theory component of the Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, and Soccer for Life courses online. In addition, a new core component of the Grassroots Coach Education Program - Coaching Soccer in Canada - has been added to the newly-dubbed Canada Soccer Grassroots Coach Education Program.
