Introduction to Soccer Program

REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN!
The Manitoba Soccer Association will be running an “Introduction to Soccer” Program for children born in 2015-2019. The “Introduction to Soccer” Program will run in a eight-week block with one session per week on Friday evenings. The purpose of this program is to introduce children at the youngest ages to soccer and help them fall in love with the sport for life! This program will offer a fun and encouraging environment that will teach participants key elements of the sport while incorporating physical literacy and game like activities. Following the completion of the eight-week block, we will help any participants looking to continue on in the sport connect with a local soccer organization in their area. The program will be ran by Manitoba Soccer Association staff and Manitoba Soccer provincial program athletes (13+). This is a parent and child program, therefore, parents must be present and engaged with their respective kid/s.

Cost: $120.00 for eight sessions ($15.00 per session)

- U4-U6 (2020s-2017s): 5:30-6:15PM
- U7-U8 (2016s-2015s): 6:25-7:10PM

Format:
- This is a parent and child program, therefore, parents must be present and engaged with their respective kid/s.
- Each grouping, U4-U6 and U7-U8 will have a capacity of 50 kids each on a first come, first serve basis. This is based on field space and coaching availability.
- Players will be split into 4 groups for each session. These will change each week and helps us manage the 4 different stations.
- 8-10 minutes per station - Water breaks in between.
