Women in Soccer

The Manitoba Soccer Association is commited to increasing the number of female soccer participants in our province, whether it be as players, coaches or referees. We strongly believe that sports offer many mental, emotional and social benefits for girls and women and pledge to promote and support the women's game through various events and initatives.

Girls Grassroots Festival: February 8th, 2020
This free festival brought together over 100 female players, coaches and volunteers to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day.

USPORTS Women's Soccer National Championships - Girls Soccer Festival: November 11, 2017
This free festival, held in conjuction with the University of Manitoba Bisons and the USPORTS Women's Soccer National Championships, offered girls an opportunity to enjoy the game that they love while being surrounded by other female players and coaches. The festival also offered a coaching clinic and referee clinic.
