Soccer for Life

Coaching Program	Grassroots Coach Education Program
Course Duration	The Soccer for Life workshop includes a 1-2 hour online theoretical workshop & a 4 hour in-person workshop.
Course Description	The Soccer for Life workshop is focused on the technical and tactical development within the 11-a-side game environment and is geared towards coaches who are coaching players in the U13 age category all the way up to Senior and 'Masters'. This workshop will cover: How to plan and deliver effective, enjoyable, age-appropriate practices and how to provide feedback to your players. How to be able to better understand the role of the coach, and the developmental stage of the players you are coaching. How to provide a safe practice/game environment for your players.
Course Outcomes	The successful coach will have also completed the following: Respect in Sport Activity Leader Program; NCCP Making Ethical Decisions.
Licence Validity	No expiration of Trained Coach status.
Target Candidate	The target candidate for the Soccer for Life workshop is currently coaching players from U13 up to Senior and 'Masters' and has a desire to further their knowledge and skills in coaching.
Admission Criteria	Currently in or seeking a coaching role
