Annual Referee Registration

Each year, every Referee in Manitoba must complete their Annual Referee Registration before they can be assigned to their first game of the season.


Why do Referees need to register every year?

  • Referee registration is a requirement of the Canadian Soccer Association.
  • Registration provides referees with insurance.
  • Registration allows the MSA to have your most up to date contact information.

The Annual Referee Registration is valid for one full outdoor season and the following indoor season. Registration for 2023-2024 season will open February 2023. To register for the current year please follow the below links:

Returning Small Sided Referees will need to complete a Small Sided Refresher prior to be placed on the active list.

Returning District Youth Referees will need to complete a District Youth Refresher prior to be placed on the active list.

Fees & Registration: 2023-2024 Annual Referee Registration

  • Referees Over 18: $50.00​

Returning District Senior, Regional and Provincial Referees will need to complete a Senior List Refresher prior to be placed on the active list.

  • Regional: $90.00
  • Provincial: $90.00
  • National: $125.00
