Important Deadlines

• November 8, 2022 - Submission of Letter of Intent and Entry Fee.

• January 5, 2023 - Submission of Official Roster (after being accepted into the competition)

PART 1: How do I register a team for the competition?

• Option 1: Be a registered team that have paid the annual $150.00 MSA Team Registration Fee OR affiliate your new team with one that have (any team that played outdoor in 2022 or currently playing indoor, Example MMSL or WWSL Team. You MUST use their name).

• Option 2: Create your own team and pay the annual $150.00 MSA Team Registration Fee.
  1. Option #1 is the best way to proceed and save some money.

• Fees explained:
  • Teams current registered with the MSA -> $300.00 (Competition Entry Fee)
  • Teams not registered with the MSA for the current year -> $300.00 + $150.00 (Competition Entry Fee + MSA Team Registration)

PART 2: Once you have figured PART 1 out you must now follow the two steps below:

Step #1: Complete your corresponding Letter of Intent and email it to Felipe Ferreira at competitions@manitobasoccer.ca.​

Player Eligibility

• Only players registered with the MSA or an Association/League in membership shall be eligible to compete in Futsal Provincial Championship Competition.

• A minimum of 10 players on the final submitted roster shall be either:
  • ​A Canadian Citizen; or
  • A permanent Resident (as defined by the Government of Canada)
  • A Protected Person (as defined by the Government of Canada)​​

• Age requirments for both Men's and Women's Futsal Provincial Championships:​
  • To compete in either Futsal Provincial Championship a player MUST be 18 or older on or after January 1st of the current year, or as otherwise provided in these Rules & Regulations. (MSA Rules and Regulations, pg. 47)

Team Rules

Senior Men's:

• In each game of the competition, a team shall be permitted to dress and play up to 14 players.

• Only the 14 “dressed” players, and the four team officials included on the team sheet may sit on the bench or in the area designated for that team.

Senior Women's:

• A team shall be permitted to register 22 players into the competition (Senior Women's competition ONLY!). However, in each game of the competition, a team shall be permitted to dress and play up to 14 players.

• Only the 14 “dressed” players, and the four team officials included on the team sheet may sit on the bench or in the area designated for that team.
