Registration Instructions

  1. Senior Teams must by accepted by their league prior to registering with the MSA. Once accepted, Team Representatives will register their team with the MSA using the appropriate link found below. Following this registration, a league administrator will review and approve the application which will lock the team into the division selected. If you are not sure which division your team is in, please contact your league for verification.
    • Team Representatives must also fill out and attach/submit the MSA's Annual Registration Application at this time. It can be done directly from the Online Team Registration, or emailed directly to the MSA Office.
  2. Once a Team is finalized and placed into its division, Players can start to register for that team. Players will register using their Goalline account and access code - if you have completed a registration on Goalline in the past (including as a Youth Player) please do not create a new account. If you do not know your access code, please click here to have one emailed to you. If you do not receive one of these automated emails, please contact the MSA Office and we will find it for you.
  3. Coaches and other Team Officials can also start to register at this time. If you are also a player, please register FIRST as a player or you will be charged twice. Coaches who also play are not charged the Coach Registration Fee, and the system will recognize your Player Registration and not charge you. It is important that ALL Team Officials register using the appropriate link below or you will not be placed on the roster. Team Officials that are registered in this way will be able to access their team's roster for printouts, but also to verify who has registered to their team.
Team Officials, Please be sure to send an email to the MSA at mbsoccer@manitobasoccer.ca to request player cards for any & all new players on your team who don't already have cards.

Senior Teams must also complete a Membership Registration Package each season and coaches must stay up to date with their Respect in Sport certification which lasts for 3 years and is free and online. Below you will find these and other documents as well as the links to the registration forms, useful tips for registration, information on transfers, as well as youth guest players.

Important Tips for Registration

  • We are not accepting photo uploading during the Registration process, they must be uploaded after registration by using the Registration Account Link (see above for your league). If you do not have a player card, or you've lost your card and need a replacement, you can check to make sure your account has a picture by going to your league's respective Registration Account page.
  • For those who need to upload photos to their account, please use the graphic shown here as a guide for appropriate photo standards. For best results please upload from a computer, not from a mobile device. Please also try to upload a photo cropped in 'portrait orientation'.
  • All Accounts are Case Sensitive. Please make to use the exact Log In credentials as your previous registration(s).
  • Try not to use any special characters, accents, or symbols when spelling your name - it may cause an error or issues with future registrations.
  • Please be sure to follow the registration process through the very end. If you do not receive an automatic Goalline Email Confirmation immediately following your registration, it was not processed properly. Please contact the office if you do not receive your confirmation.

Senior Player Release & Player Transfers Information

The process of Player Transfers works as outlined below, but you can also find the information in the Senior Registration Information Package (linked above). You will find the information in the section of the document called 'Transfer Procedure' which you can navigate to directly from the Table of Contents.

Process:
1. The Team Official from Team A must Release Player A by way of submitting the appropriate paperwork form. Releasing players is free and there is no fee attached.
Team A must also provide the MSA with Player A’s player card.
2. Team B can have Player A register to their team once he/she’s been properly released from Team A’s roster. This Transfer has a $30 fee.
3. Team A can re-register Player A after 30 days of the release. There is no fee for this as it is not a transfer.

The paperwork to Release Senior Players from your roster can be found at the MSA Office or linked above and you must submit the player's card with this paper form to the MSA office. This must be submitted by the Team Official of the team that is releasing players.

Youth to Senior Guest Permits

The process of having a registered Youth Player participate as a Youth Guest Player or Youth Call-Up works as outlined in the Senior Registration Information Package (linked above). You will find the information in the section of the document called 'Registered Youth Players As Guests For Senior' which you can navigate to directly from the Table of Contents. The player must be Age Eligible to participate as a Youth Guest Player for Senior Soccer - information on this is also found in the Registration Package.

A Youth to Senior Guest Permit is required and can be found on the MSA website's Policy page, and the document must be signed by a Registered Youth Club Official and a Registered Senior Club Official from the two teams involved. Parent/Guardian consent is required, and a Registered Senior Club Official who has a clear/active CPIC check must sign off on the form and be present at the game.

Youth Players who are called up in this way must bring their Youth Player Card with them to the Senior Game in order to participate. If the Youth Player does not have a Youth Player Card, their Club must issue and approve one for them prior to the match.
