Regional & Provincial Referee Upgrade Course

Current District Referees on the MSA Senior List who are interested in upgrading to Regional or Provincial classification status must declare their interest in writing (e-mail) to the MSA Referee Department. Potential candidates will be selected for the upgrading program based on previous experience, assessments and fitness testing results.

The upgrading program consists of a written exam (administered online by the CSA), completion of the Regional or Provincial Referee Upgrade Course as well as evaluation of the individual's assessments and fitness testing results over a period of up to two years.

Selected Candidates will be provided with a Priority Registration Code by the MSA Referee Program in order to sign up for the course on Goalline. Individuals must also complete their annual MSA Referee Registration prior to registering for the Regional Upgrade Course.
