Futsal

What is Futsal?

Futsal is played throughout the World, and is the only indoor game recognized by FIFA. The game is played between two teams of five players each on a hard court surface, and uses a low bounce (Futsal) ball. Play is restarted with a kick-in, and there are no off-sides.

Why Futsal?

Futsal creates a fun, fast paced, learning environemnt where players can develop all aspects of their game. As Futsal is played on a smaller court, players must make quicker decisions, both with and without the ball. With fewer players, and reduced space, players will devleop technically as they get more touches and less time on the ball. More goals and goal-scoring opportunities.

Currently, Manitoba Soccer holds an annual Senior Men's Provincial Championships, MCAC operates a League for both Men's & Women's Colleges, and Manitoba Soccer offers Futsal Festival's around the Province for Youth.
