League Information

Youth Soccer

Westman Regional Soccer Association (WRSA) - based in Brandon, WRSA is a soccer association that governs the Westman Region - a soccer region in Manitoba. They sanction recreational outdoor soccer as well as run a Developmental and Premier Program (Westman FC) for U3 to U8 Mini Players and U9 to U18 Youth Players; they also manage a growing Futsal program during the Winter months. The communities comprise the Westman Region are: Brandon, Minnedosa, Neepawa, Rivers, and Southwest (Nesbitt, Boissevain, Hartney).

Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) - based in Winnipeg, WYSA operates U13-U18 Recreational, U9 to U12 Developmental, and U13 to U17 Premier division play during the Outdoor Season; U9 to U12 Recreational Outdoor soccer divisions are independantly operated by the 5 district clubs of Winnipeg, and teams competing in this competition play only within their home district. During the Indoor Season they operate U9 to U18 Recreational, U9 to U12 Developmental, and U13 to U17 Premier divisions. 

 

Senior Soccer

Manitoba Major Soccer League (MMSL) - based in Winnipeg, the MMSL operates a Senior Mens league. Their outdoor league contains several mens divisions as well as a co-ed competition. During the indoor season, they operate several mens divisions of Half Field and Quarter Field Indoor Soccer.

Winnipeg Men's Soccer League (WMSL) - based in Winnipeg and formerly known as the Manitoba Senior Soccer League, the WMSL is a single division league with ten or more mens teams. The league operates during the summer months.

Westman Womens Senior Soccer League (WWSSL) - based in Brandon, the WWSSL is a single division of a dozen or more womens teams. The league operates during the summer months.

Winnipeg Womens Soccer League (WWSL) - based in Winnipeg, the WWSL operates a Senior Womens league. Their outdoor league contains several womens divisions, including both Womens and Masters competitions. During the indoor season they operate several Quarter Field divisions each for Womens, Masters, and Co-ed competitions.

 

Postsecondary

Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conferences (MCAC) - based in Winnipeg, the MCAC operates multi-sport College competition for Manitoba. They operate Mens and Womens leagues for both Soccer (outdoor) and Futsal (winter). There are currently teams based in Brandon, Otterburne, and Winnipeg.

U Sports 
 Canada West Conference - multi-sport University competition for Western Canada. There are two teams based in Winnipeg, each currently only offering Womens Soccer. They are the University of Manitoba Bisons, and the University of Winnipeg Wesmen.
