Licensed by Canada Soccer, supported by the Whitecaps FC Manitoba Academy Centre and delivered through Provincial/ Territorial Member Associations and partners, Women’s Regional EXCEL Centres provide talented U-13 to U-18 players with a comprehensive program based on a standardized national curriculum. This allows them to accumulate high-quality training hours on a par with leading European nations and begin to develop world-class attributes in the four corners of development.

The Manitoba REX program is one of eight Canada Soccer Regional Excel Centres and is a stepping stone into the Canada Soccer Women’s EXCEL National Pathway. It bridges the gap between the Manitoba Club/Academy environment and the SuperREX (located in British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec) and Youth National team environment. University/College can serve as a possible pathway after being in the MB REX, Super REX, or Youth National Teams and players in the MB REX will be supported in various forms to accommodate this reality. 

Vision: To put Manitoba ‘on the map’ of developing top female talent that can compete with players across the country and worldwide.

Mission: To create a challenging, safe, and fun, high-performance environment that allows female athletes in Manitoba the opportunity to get to the next level, striving for Super REX and Youth National teams, but having University opportunities as a biproduct. This will be accomplished by creating an environment that pushes every individual to become a better person and player.
